Shamrock The Block 2010 is a free street festival in its 7th year. Not only is this the first outdoor festival of the season, but attendance has grown to almost 20,000. This is our cure for "Cabin Fever" in Richmond.
In addition to Shamrock being a celebration, we try hard to incorporate "green" themes into the event. If you have an eco-friendly product or service, this could be a great opportunity to get your name out there.

The first ever "Boot Scoot Bowl" is coming to Richmond! We incorporate bowling, live country music, billiards, line-dancing and more for a great night of fun and community service. Proceeds from this event benefit local charities.

Max's Positive Vibe Cafe' is an incredible non-profit organization that trains those with disabilities in the food service/hospitality industry. Vibefest 2009 is the organization's largest fund-raiser of the year.

Wilkommen! This Annual event was initiated in 2005 and has grown into a much-anticipated Richmond festival every September. Authentic German food, beer and of course music is on tap for the day.
In its 6th year, this festival is now three days and boasts over 15,000 in attendance.

Each year, in communities all across the United States and Canada, families, friends, neighbors and teams from local businesses and national companies come together for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS's) Light The Night Walk events to bring help and hope to people battling blood cancers.
Light The Night Walk events are evenings filled with inspiration. Carrying illuminated balloons - white for survivors, red for supporters and gold in memory of loved ones lost to cancer - thousands of walkers - men, women and children - form a community of caring, bringing light to the dark world of cancer. |

Richmond’s Italian-American community comes together this October to celebrate the 6th annual Richmond Italian Street Festival.
The mission of the Richmond Italian Street Festival is to promote the Italian culture to Central Virginia; to unify the Italian Community and provide an entertainment/cultural venue that is beneficial to all involved.
Cultural displays will be provided by local Italian organizations, live demonstrations, wine tasting and live music are among the many events planned for our two day Festival. |
